The Parma F.O.P. Lodge #15 is starting it's eighteenth year with the Shop With a Cop program.
This program is designed for the children to enjoy Christmas Shopping with a police officer and buying Holiday gifts. Children will each receive a $125.00 gift card to purchase items at the Strongsville WAL-MART. Officer's will select a child from their city that would benefit the most. Officer's would contact their local school's or youth organizations that can help with the selection of a child.
The date selected for this year's program is December 8th. The day will begin with a uniformed officer in a marked patrol car picking up their selected child and meeting at the lodge hall at 9:00am. From the lodge hall they will then escort the children to the Strongsville WAL-MART. When the shopping is finished the officer and children will return back to the lodge hall where everyone will get to enjoy pizza and pop. Once everyone is fed each officer will escort each child back home with the patrol unit.
With this being the eighteenth year of the program the lodge will be able to accommodate approximately (40 to 50) children. Participating officer's need to advise as soon as possible if they and their city are going to participate in this program or have any questions. Please contact Brother Marcello Marsalla of the Strongsville Police Dept, at (440) 227-7813
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated by the lodge and especially the children.
