Lodge Clean up
On July 19th we had a great turn out for our monthly clean up party. We were able to build a new fire pit on the north side of the lodge hall for members to use. We also performed weed control along W130th as well as around some tree's and cleared some brush from the fence line. The picnic pavilion roof was painted in the 90 deg. heat that day but we still need to complete the other side. The hall was cleaned and many small projects were completed. We could always use an extra hand on our clean up days, so if you have a couple hours free on the next day please stop by visit and pitch in!

SHOP WITH A COP!!
The Parma F.O.P. Lodge #15 is starting it's third year with the "SHOP WITH A COP" program. It will mirror the program run by the Richfield F.O.P. Lodge #66 in Summit County. This program is designed for the children to enjoy Christmas Shopping with a police officer, buying Holiday gifts. Childeren will each receive a $100.00 gift card to purchase items at the Strongsville WAL-MART. Officer's will select a child from their city that would benefit the most. Officer's would contact their local school's or youth organizations that can help with the selection of a child. The date selected for this year's program is December 6th. The day will begin with a uniformed officer in a marked patrol car picking up their selected child and meeting at the lodge hall at 9:00am. From the lodge hall they will then escort the children to the Strongsville WAL-MART. When the shopping is finished the officer and children will return back to the lodge hall where everyone will get to enjoy pizza and pop. Once everyone is fed each officer can escort each child back home with the patrol unit. With this being the second year of the program the lodge will be able to accommodate approximately (35) children. Participating officer's need to advise as soon as possible if they and their city are going to participate in this program or have any questions. Please contact Brother Emil Walentik at the Brookpark Police Dept, (216)-433-1239. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated by the lodge and especially the childrren.
Thank You
